What an interesting week it has been for us here where money
was concerned. The most unusual thing to happen was when my
wife went to the bank to draw some money and phoned me to
say we had too much money. It was kind of difficult to make
the call to find out if it was a mistake somewhere in case
we had to give the money back! Even the woman on the banks
helpline found it amusing that someone phoned them to say
they had too much money. Luckily it was an expired
insurance policy we’d missed, and the insurance co had
paid us back over two years of our monthly payments. What a
great thing to happen while we are in christmas present
buying mode lol.

10 Simple But Effective Ways To Maximise Your Affiliate Sales

As an affiliate marketer your aim is to be making as many
sales as you can, so you need as many tools and techniques
as you can lay your hands on to make those affiliate sales.
The following ten tips are proven to increase vistiors, and
ultimately sales, to any website.
1) Offer a freebie to attract visitors to your site. Make
sure the freebie is related to the theme of your site, and
the affiliate product you are promoting. Even better if you
can also offer another FREE gift to anyone who tells their
friends about your site, this kind of viral marketing can
turn your site into a goldmine in just a few days.
2) Use a name squeeze page, so you can add your visitors
name to the webpage, and it becomes personal as if you are
talking directly to them. You can also capture other
information so you can send special offers, promotions and
remind them about your site regularly. This technique can
increase affiliate sales by leaps and bounds, especially if
used in conjunction with a FREE gift to exchange for the
visitors details.
3) Add a chat room or message board to your web site.
Having somewhere people can come and discuss their hobby,
or problems, with other likeminded members will keep them
coming back to your site to participate. Turning your
website into a themed portal with a messageboard and links
to other resources related to the affiliate products you
market will turn you into the expert, and your affiliate
marketing site into a useful resource.
4) Track and analyze all your promotional efforts. You will
be able to concentrate your time on the marketing strategies
which work, and drop any underperforming ones sooner. This
will mean you are not wasting time spinning your wheels
with something which is doomed to failure, and enable you
to use your time and resources to the maximum effect.
5) Make the most of every single visitor. Offer bribes in
the form of FREE gifts and discounts where possible in
return for interacting on your sites forums or
messageboards, and signing up for your newsletter.
Everybody is different, and offering a few alternative
gifts, or ways to earn those gifts will also help to
increase your return traffic. You get more chances to make
that sale.
6) Offer bonuses to anyone who purchases from your
affiliate link. There are hundreds of products you can buy
with resale rights, giveaway rights, or even private label
rights. Find several of these products which match or
complemement the affiliate items you are promoting and also
come with the right to use them as a bonus, and double check
that you may use them as a giveaway to people who purchase
your affiliate product. Now package them up and offer the
bonus to anyone who makes the purchase using your link.
7) Submit articles to article databases and ezine
publishers. Include your link to your website which has
your newsletter signup, or squeezepage in the resource box
and this will build links back to your site, and also your
increase your credibility as an expert in your chosen
field.
Start a viral promotion by using a FREE giveaway. When
done correctly you can gain exponential exposure for your
affiliate products and links. An ebook is an ideal vehicle
for and If you don’t feel up to writing it yourself, there
are a plethora of places to buy private label rights books
or articles you can use as if you did write it yourself.
Place some links to your chosen products in an ebook on the
same subject as you are promoting for, and make sure to
prominently place your list signup link in there too. Give
the ebook away, and allow anyone who gets it to give it
away too.
9) Start a blog on blogger.com or as part of your website
and use this as a place to collate articles, stories etc.
with some connection to your chosen subject. Blog
regularly, and ping at pingoat.com each time you blog. Make
sure each post carries a link to your affiliate products,
and try to incorporate your newsletter signup form in the
page too.
10) Practice good customer service - always. It’s easier
to sell a second time to someone who has had good service
from you. After you have given them a bonus for their
purchase, you can follow up with your happy customer, and
offer other offers they may find useful. It’s much easier
to keep a customer who trusts you than to get a new one.
Follow the preceding tips, and watch your affiliate
marketing soar to new heights of profit. Just one or two of
these can make the difference to your affiliate sales when
used properly. Use all of them together and who knows what
your results may be?

The War
A long time ago, Britain and France were at war. During
one battle, The French captured an English major. Taking
the major to their headquarters, the French general began
to question him.
The French general asked, “Why do you English officers
all wear red coats? Don’t you know the red material makes
you easier targets for us to shoot at?”
In his bland English way, the major informed the general
that the reason English officers wear red coats is so that
if they are shot, the blood won’t show and the men they
are leading won’t panic.
